Latisha Van Simon was born in The Netherlands. Her career started at the young age of 11, when she starred in the touring musical ANNIE as Annie. After performing throughout the country she realized that singing was her passion. She continued performing in Talent shows including Concours de la Chanson Française, Haarlems Interscolair Tournooi (HIT) and Starsearch. Latisha started writing songs at the age of 12 and took guitar and piano lessons to accompany herself.
When she finished High School, she moved to Boston, to attend Berklee College of music after receiving a Scholarship through the World Scholarship Tour program.
Continuing her studies at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Los Angeles her talent didn't go unnoticed when she received a scholarship from legendary bassist and composer, Stanley Clarke. Latisha had the honor of performing with Stevie Wonder twice, at his concert "A House Full Of Toys" , a benefit concert for kids without any toys.
Latisha received her degree for Voice and Audio Engineering in 2008 and started working with Paul Broucek who is now President of Warner Brothers Pictures Music Department, on an EP.Not only does she sing and write, but Latisha also developed a passion for music production. She produced a track for former Virgin Records artist "Ferras" in 2007 and continued developing her production skills. Osvaldo Supino, an Italian popstar, recognized her talent and started working with her on his EP. His single 'Like This', written and produced by Latisha and co-writer Femke, came out in May 2011 and 'Get Laid' in 2013.
In 2016, she independently released her song “TOY” which is available on Itunes, and produced a music video with Xander Arts, available on Youtube.
Later that year, Latisha met Krasi Krastev, who runs EDM label "DMN Records" in Germany. They started working together and since then, they have released “Where Did The Love Go” (January 2017), “Let’s Make Love” (July 2017) and “Near Me” (October 2017) which have all charted on the Top 100 in Switzerland and Germany. They are working on a new single to be released this year.
